Here is a short outline of guild ranks, what they mean, how to get them, etc.
Aspirant
Aspirants are the life blood of TESG. Aspirants have access to all guild resources except the Guild Bank, and access to the Sage Council forums. Promotion from Aspirant to Sage is granted on the first Saturday after the member has been with us for 2 weeks.
Sage
Sages make up the core of TESG, and have all rights to guild resources. Once a Sage, always a Sage. If you leave the guild to explore your options, know you are always welcome in our guild hall.
Wandering Sage
Wandering Sages are the same thing as Sages, but have chosen to represent a friend guild. One example of this is a few members from our friend guild Elder Moot. If you are a member of a guild that would get along well with TESG, you may want to consider becoming a Wandering Sage by setting up diplomatic relations between the two.
Archivist
Archivists are exceptional members of the guild. They have a track record of activity within the guild (forums, guild chat, teamspeak, guild events, etc), good behavior, and have displayed good character. One of the benefits of being an Archivist is the ability to speak at Council Meetings and the ability to invite new players into the in-game guild
Elder Sage
Through their ideas and contributions, Elder Sages have influenced the course of the guild as a whole. Elders serve as the guild moderators and are a part of the leadership team, and have all administration rights to the guild both in-game and on the forums.
Master Sage
Master Sages act as a round table of guild leaders. They ensure rules and guidelines are followed and the guild stays true to the guild charter and vision of the guild. They are responsible for representing, safeguarding, and guiding the guild and it's members.
